Born Catherine Conn in 1910 in the city of New Orleans, Kitty Carlisle has been acting for over 70 years. She first appeared on the silver screen in 1934 in the movie Murder at the Vanities. One year later she appeared in the Marx Brothers production A Night at the Opera. Her most recent film credit was a small part in the 1993 movie Six Degrees of Separation.
Ms. Carlisle is probably best known for her numerous appearances on television games shows. She served as a celebrity panelist numerous times on both What's My Line? and To Tell The Truth.
